We offer a huge selection of Antiques, Collectibles and gifts. Our business owner, Catherine Hickey, was born and raised in Ireland. She met her husband, Patrick, while he was serving in the United States Marine Corps. They married in Ireland and she immigrated to his hometown, West Des Moines, and set her roots in the city.
Catherine grew up loving art, painting and antiques. Her passion shines through in her shop as she features local vendors, gifts and collectibles

From Butterfly Cottage .. 'Look inside my booth "Butterfly Cottage". My pieces are hand painted, with some featuring my original artwork. I try and offer unique, original one off pieces, that will not be repeated. Many of which are hand made by myself. I try to take each piece of furniture I paint, or clock I make and give it it's own identity in some little way. I hope you enjoy looking at them, as much as I have creating them.'
