Fort Dodge/Webster City Area Day Trip....In Fort Dodge visit LilyGrace on Central, Homespun Collection and Downtown Antiques along with Soldier Creek Winery north of town and Garden Winery in Calender; in Webster City visit Heart N Home and SOS Vintage. Find their Flags on the Road Trip Map and tell 'em Hi please....!

Check out JunqueFest in Webster City each Memorial Day weekend and Fort Dodge Vintage Market the third weekend in October.

Jefferson Area Day Trip....Country Blessings is just east of town, Gilroy's Antiques is in town. Make it a long day and add Lincoln Highway Trading Company in Carroll, Once Then & Again in Lake City, Here's Your Sign in Ogden and Stitch in Time in Perry. Great food at 209 Main St in Payton!!! All these shops have Flags on the Road Trip Map.


Lincoln Highway Nevada to Tama Day Trip....No matter if you are traveling west from Cedar Rapids or east from Ames try these short detours to several great shops and weekend sales. In Nevada stop at StuffEnufFor Us and Gypsy Alley; In Colo check the dates for barn sales by Leisa's Farmtiques; In Laurel is Hotger Cornerstone Country Store with lots of everything like Primitives ♥ Collectibles ♥ Handmade Candles, Potpourri, Wood carvings done by the family! Just a block away is Industrial Lace that is open one weekend a month with homemade jewelry, renewed "junk" and more. Last stop on the list is Kathys Barn in Marshalltown with monthly sales. Walnut Day Trip   Spend a day in Walnut, Iowa! Walnut offers over 15 antique and specialty shops all in one location! Located south of Interstate 80 at exit 46, Walnut is Iowa’s Antique City. The downtown block, located at the south end of main street, is a picturesque and quaint setting for an afternoon spent shopping. Also check out Robert’s Treats and Treasures on the north end of the shopping district and which offers pastries, breads, and lunch, and Emma Jean’s Restaurant and Bar located just north of the Interstate.


Boone Day Trip ... Boone is becoming an antique & vintage destination with several great shops to visit. Just to name a few: Furniture Zone, Iron Horse Antique Mall, Old New & Things to Redo, Uptown Funky Junk and Urban Heirlooms. The Good News Room has antiques and great food!! All have flags on the Road Trip Map to make it very easy to find them.


East of Des Moines Day Trip..... Visit Colfax and stop at Affected Interiors & Spring City Vintage....quaint town and wonderful shops! In Prairie City spend some time at Mud Pies & Sassafras Tea and their shop located in a wonderful old building. In Newton visits Relic Antiques on the west side of the square...
